Love bikes? Love helping people? RB Cyclery is looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Service Writer to join our team! You’ll provide exceptional customer service, technical expertise, and foster a welcoming environment for both seasoned cyclists and newcomers. Strong communication skills are needed to manage service customer interactions, coordinate repair work, and document repair tickets. This role is perfect for a good listener, a problem-solver, and someone who loves sharing their cycling knowledge!
What You’ll Do
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers, assess service needs, & advise solutions
- Oversee Service: Manage and create repair work orders, ensuring high quality service
- Lead & Train: Mentor mechanics, uphold standards, & foster a positive work environment
- Efficiency & Productivity: Keep service area running smoothly & help meet labor goals
- Maintain Organization: Ensure a clean, well-stocked, and highly efficient service area
What You Need
- A passion for cycling and helping others get the most out of their ride
- Bike repair experience with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Manage multiple responsibilities in a distracting environment and stay productive
- Leadership mindset – ready to coach, mentor, and train others in best practices
- Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, work orders, emails)
