Cycle for Safety
In Memory of Cory Horton
Sunday May 4th, 2008
Memphis Thunder
Triathlon Racing Team and Share the Road Midsouth.org
are proud to sponsor and present the “Cycle for Safety Ride.”
This bike ride, one distance for the whole family and one for the serious
cyclist, is an event that everyone will want to participate in and
support. Our goal for this event is twofold. First, we want to help
educate the cycling community and the general public about laws and safety
rules affecting our safe coexistence. Second, remembering Cory Horton our
close friend, swim coach, teammate and all around inspiration. Cory
tragically lost his life in a biking accident in May 2005. We cannot
afford to lose another cyclist due to lack of education. Cory is still
making a difference. Location: St. George’s Independent School,
Collierville campus: 1880 Wolf River Blvd.
